Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1: Enable full screen mode. Add the full screen trigger JavaScript to the survey landing page.
Step 2: Hide browser chrome. Configure the full screen API to remove browser navigation bars and toolbars.
Step 3: Lock screen orientation. For tablet kiosk use, lock screen orientation to prevent rotation.
Step 4: Add an exit mechanism. Provide an administrator exit button that is not accessible to respondents.
Step 5: Test on target hardware. Full screen behaviour varies across browsers and devices - test on the actual hardware before deployment.
