Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1: Understand progressive ranking. Instead of drag-and-drop, respondents select their top item from the remaining list, then their next, and so on.
Step 2: Set up the item list. Enter all items to be ranked as response options.
Step 3: Configure the progressive display. Each selection removes the chosen item and redisplays the remaining items for the next choice.
Step 4: Set a partial ranking option. Allow respondents to rank only the top N items rather than the full list if the list is long.
Step 5: Export rank order data. The exported data shows the order in which items were selected for each respondent.
