Mallorca Course FAQs

Will the course be available online?
This course is an in person experience and tailored as such. While excerpts and materials from the course will be made online to those who attend in person, they will not be generally available. There will be however be online courses later in the year – check out the choice modelling academy online courses.

What happens if I decide not to attend, do I get my money back?
The number of places at course is limited, so booking a place potentially prevents another person from attending. Consequently fees are non-refundable. In the case you cannot attend, you may transfer the booking to another eligible person. In extenuating circumstances, where you cannot attend the course nor can you transfer the booking, we may consider a partial refund at our discretion.

I don’t want to pay for the additional items such as the Thursday and Friday dinner and events. Can I pay less?
The course is designed around collegiate inclusion and participation so costs are therefore ‘all-in’. While we did look at this, the potential discount benefit was less than the cost of managing it.

I am a part-time student – do I get a discount or a part-discount?
No, you must be a full-time student or academic to receive the academic discount.

I’m a full time academic student/teacher, do I get a discount?
Yes, you qualify for the significant discounts as listed under fees. You will need to register using your institution email address and provide confirmation of your enrolment or tenure.

I know enough about the theory, I just want to attend the final day.
That is fine there is an option for just attending the final day at an approximately 50% reduction from the entire course fee. See the registration page for final costs.

I am a full time academic/student but just want to attend the Friday. Do I get a discount?
There is a flat fee for all attendees for the Friday-only attendance.

Do I qualify for airport transfers, What constitutes a group?
If you have registered for the course with 5 or more from the same company, arriving the same time, we can arrange transport from the airport.

Can you recommend any good hotels?
The THB Felip is a reputable hotel on the water as is the Hotel Drach.

How can I get from the Airport
The bus A42 goes direct to Porto Cristo from the airport and costs around 12 euros. It takes the same time as a taxi which can be 80 euros. For bookings of 5 or more arriving the same time, from the same institution or company, we can arrange transport.

What is there to do in Porto Cristo?
The local beach, swimming holes at Cala Murta, coastal boat tours, the caves of Drach and Hams, kayak and boat hire and day trips to nearby Arta, Santanyi and Pollenca.
