Multifactorial Survey Experiments
31st March 2025- 4th April 2025
Prof. Jürgen Meyerhoff & Ulf Liebe

SurveyEngine GmbH is providing student licenses to conduct multifactorial survey experiments (MFSEs) to the students of the multifactorial survey experiments course led by Professors Jürgen Meyerhoff at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin & Ulf Liebe at the University of Warwick.

This course will introduce different types of MFSEs (factorial survey, discrete choice, conjoint), addressing similarities, differences, and methodological challenges. Participants will become familiar with the theoretical underpinnings and empirical applications of these experiments, and will learn how to design experiments, collect and analyze MFSE data. The course will combine lectures with hands-on sessions using SurveyEngine and participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own research projects/ideas.

Students in this course will use SurveyEngine to explore multifactorial survey experiments, a powerful method for understanding social, political and economic issues. With the help of the SurveyEngine software students will be able to build a survey, create a choice experiment and experimental design and collect data.

SurveyEngine software access, required for the course above, is provided free for enrolled students under the following terms:
